Songjiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277 during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then in 1805 in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of J🌟iangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang to be a district.

Digital transformation was comprehensively promoted, and the G60 Digital Economy Innovation Industry Demonstration Zone of Songjiang New City was successfully selected as one of the first batches of municipal demonstration zones. The evaluation of urban digital transformation in 2021 ranked third in Shanghai. In 2021, Songjiang tourism revenues reached 12.646 billion yuan, up by 19.2% over the previous year. The total number of tourists reached 16.5176 million, up by 47.3% over the previous year. By the end of 2021, there were 7 star-rated hotels in Songjiang, including 3 five-star hotels, 2 four-star hotels, and 2 three-star hotels. InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland is innovative design work. It took 12 years to finish the construction of the hotel. This novel hotel follows the natural environment and makes full use of the curved surface of the quarry rock face to hang and build on it. The main body is composed of 2 layers above the surface and 15 layers 88 meters below the surface, which makes the world amazed. The hotel is located at the Tianma Hill quarry near Sheshan Hill, 32 kilometers away from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, also adjacent to Sheshan National Forest Park, Chensha🎃n Botanical Garden, and other tourist attractions. The hotel has about 900 square meters of pillarless banquet hall and 5 multi-functional conference rooms with different areas. Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 79.44% of the scenic spot covered by forests. There are 12 hills in the park, stretching their way from the southwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls with a total length of 13km, offering Shangh🍬ai’s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protect♉io🐼n unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, thꦓe plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botany Museum, and Exotic Botany Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group in Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in the world. Now C🐎henshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

成(cheng)(cheng)都(dou)方塔(ta)园创建(jian)(jian)(jian)于1977年，占地面182亩，原址为唐宋(song)期古(gu)华亭的闹区学校。四园有地方党委不(bu)宜转(zhuan)动(dong)古(gu)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑共8处，这(zhei)之(zhi)中还包括兴圣教寺(si)塔(ta)，💫1999年1一月被国(guo)内颁(ban)发为各省侧(ce)重古(gu)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑保(bao)障(zhang)机构；兰(lan)瑞堂、砖刻照壁、陈化成(cheng)(cheng)祠、天妃宫和望(wang)仙桥，201四年4月被市政施工府颁(ban)发为成(cheng)(cheng)都(dou)市古(gu)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑保(bao)障(zhang)机构；明朝石(shi)象生(s🎃heng)、张氏宅(zhai)前厅，201两年6月被颁(ban)发为松江区古(gu)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑保(bao)障(zhang)机构。
全园景以(yi)宋朝的方塔为(wei)中心点，周(zhou)圈环(huan)设𝓰宋朝望仙(xia💎n)桥,北(bei)京在(zai)明砖雕(diao)照壁、兰(lan)瑞(rui)堂、石雕(diao)园,北(bei)宋天妃宫、陈公祠,还要建(jian)何陋轩、其昌廊等(deng)。现为(wei)发展中国家4A级游览区。
Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao🐼 Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics prot🌼ection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of Northern Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of Southern Song Dynasty, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou Veranda, Qichang Corridor and so on. The park is rated as a national ♔4A-level scenic spot.
沈阳醉白池植物园

醉(zui)白(bai)(bai)池(chi)(chi)是广州(zhou)好几(ji)(ji)个经典花(hua)园(yuan)(yuan)中之(zhi)一，土地(di)征用76亩。幼(you)(you)儿幼(you)(you)儿园(yuan)(yuan)内有几(ji)(ji)处不易(yi)移(yi)动(dong)式(shi)文保区(qu)机(ji)构(gou)古迹，表(biao)中：醉(zui)白(bai)(bai)池(chi)(chi)，2018年4月被水利水电工程(cheng)府展(zhan)示为(wei)广州(zhou)市文保区(qu)机(ji)构(gou)古迹呵护区(qu)机(ji)构(gou)；咖(ka)啡雕(diao)刻(ke)图(tu)案厅，1985年六月被展(zhan)示为(wei)松江县文保区(qu)机(ji)构(gou)古迹呵护区(qu)机(ji)构(gou)。花(hua)园(yuan)(yuan)来自北宋(song)松江进士朱之(zhi)纯的(de)私居家风水院(yuan)，名“谷阳园(yuan)(yuan)”。后(hou)为(wei)北京在明(ming)(ming)大(da)字画家董其昌觞咏处，也是杰(jie)出(chu)人物学土常游之(zhi)城。清顺治年里，工部主事顾大(da)申(shen)重加建(jian)筑建(jian)材，因(yin)膜拜唐大(da)文人白(bai)(bai)居易(yi)，仿宋(song)宰(zai)相韩琦(qi)慕白(bai)(bai)之(zhi)意，将所(suo)建(jian)池(chi)(chi)上花(hua)园(yuan)(yuan)创建(jian)为(wei)“醉(zui)白(bai)(bai)池(chi)(chi)”，至(zhi)今已经有370余年时间。幼(you)(you)儿幼(you)(you)儿园(yuan♛)(yuan)内现保留(liu)着北宋(song)的(de)西武(wu)百货轩，北京在明(ming)(ming)的(de)周围厅、疑舫、上学堂(tang)，宋(song)朝池(chi)(chi)上草堂(tang)、雪海堂(tang)、宝(bao)成楼、咖(ka)啡雕(diao)刻(ke)图(tu)案厅等(deng)亭阁楼阁；个人收藏有元赵孟頫毛笔(bi)书法美(mei)工真迹《前(qian)、后赤壁赋》石(shi)刻、清朝《云间(jian)邦(bang)彦画像图片(pian)》碑刻等美(mei)工瑰宝(bao)。校园内挂(gua)的(de)当代(dai)毛笔(bi)书法美(mei)工名(ming)作题字匾♒(bian)联(lian)更不(bu)计入(ru)其(qi)数。现(xian)为地方4A级风景区(qu)。
With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty). The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of꧃ the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a bo🌳at-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu's calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it is the most abundant and valuable among 29 cultural sites in Shanghai. There are three immovable cultural relics on the site, including Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture, which wa🌺s announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in May 2013; Chen Zilong Tomb, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in November 1987; Zhiye Bridge, which was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.
The site takes the protection zone of the archaeological site as its core and presents its original form w🃏ith farming ecological culture and authentic rural scenery. The profound culture is the core competitiveness of Guangfulin, which includes a cultural display area, a folk display area, a religious display area, an archeological site exhibition hall, and a porcelain kiln exhibition hall. Guangfulin echoes Songjiang Prefectural City, Songjiang City of Warehouse, Sijing Ancient Town, and other historical and cultural scenes, which has become the destination of the “Root-seeking Journey of Profound Culture” in Shanghai.

Guangfulin Country Park is built around the five core elements of “field, water, road, for♐est, and village”, and is based on the natural ecological landscape of farming. It is composed of farm picking🌳, fruiting scenery, wetland fishing villages, and camping bases. The block is divided into 12 areas, such as a rape flower field, green field trail, forest oxygen bar, Laolaiqing rice field, and leisurely trail in the paddy. Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. At the confluence of the three rivers, the river is vast, the sailboats in the river competing for the current, the nets rising and falling by the river, the reeds on the bund swaying, the pink peaches and green willows setting each other off. These breeds the endless scenery of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, from which the scenic spot got its name “Pujiang River Source”. The whole scenic spot is divided into two parts: the aboveground part is “Shu-Liu-Li-Yun Pagoda” and “Chunshen Hall”, while the underground part is “Water Culture Exhibition Hall”ꦯ. In the scenic area, the architectural style of cantilever beam and bucket arch exude classical charm, while the glazed tiles of French windows unfold modern fashion pleasure. Songjiang Museum is a local chronicl﷽es museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are collected, researched, and exhibited. The 2-storey exhibition room covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different periods of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gal🌜lery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty
松江唐(tang)经幢应用于松江中山中小学即(ji)将毕业的(de)大(da)学生消费群(q🎃un)体(ti)内，𓆉198七年就在今年1月(yue)份被浙(zhe)江省人民(min)政府发(fa)布(bu)文(wen)章为(wei)各(ge)地着重文(wen)保(bao)英文(wen)保(bao)护(hu)英文(wen)基层单(dan)位(wei)。建于唐(tang)大(da)中第十(shi)两年（859年），是迄今沪最悠久的(de)面产品。经幢21级，高9.3米(mi)，八(ba)(ba)棱(leng)八(ba)(ba)面，故叫作为(wei)八(ba)(ba)棱(leng)碑(bei)，简称“唐(tang)经幢”，別(bie)称“石塔”。
Sutra Pillar o♍f the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, Songjiang. In January 1988, it was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit. Established in 859, the 🌌pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters. With eight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.

大仓(cang)桥(qiao)座落永丰街(jie)道社区中江(jiang)(jiang)西路仓(cang)桥(qiao)弄(nong)南(nan)，2016年(nian)4月(yue)被披露为(wei)(wei)济(🐎ji)南(nan)市文(wen)物古(gu)迹防护公司(si)的，是一个座高(gao)10余米(mi)，单坡50余米(mi)的五♔(wu)孔(kong)弧形大石(shi)桥(qiao)。桥(qiao)本名永丰，因(yin)桥(qiao)南(nan)为(wei)(wei)松江(jiang)(jiang)府漕运仓(cang)城(cheng)，故被称作(zuo)大仓(cang)桥(qiao)。现为(wei)(wei)济(ji)南(nan)城(cheng)市很多闻名的明朝大石(shi)桥(qiao)之(zhi)四。
Located at Cangqiao Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacan♉g Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.

松(song)江清真(zhen)寺(si)应用(yong)于(yu)岳阳街道办路桥居委会缸甏巷(xiang)75号，1980年4月被(bei)对外(wai)公布为杭州(zhou)市(shi)(shi)市(shi)(shi)古(gu)物保護行(xing)业，是杭州(zhou)市(shi)(shi)东南部最(zui)迟的(de)伊斯兰教佛教寺(si)院，兴建(jian)(jian)于(yu)元至正车间（134一年—1366年），初名真(zhen)教寺(si)。清朝(chao)年代途经曾多次修葺(qi)和续建(jian)(ji൩an)，但是，现如今(jin)的(de)清真(zhen)寺(si)已有元代年代的(de)搭(da)建(jian)(jian)的(de)苏州(zhou)特(te)色(se)，又有清朝(chao)隔代的(de)搭(da)建(jian)(jian)的(de)苏州(zhou)特(te)色(se)。方搭(da)建(jian)(jian)大(da)点殿、窑殿、穿廊，另有南、北讲坛，邦(bang)克门等，但其中(zhong)窑殿和邦(bang)克门两(liang)个地方最(zui)具该寺(si)搭(da)建(jian)(jian)的(de)苏州(zhou)特(te♍)色(se)。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in August 1980. As on💧e of the oldest mosques in Sh🍬anghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
西林禅寺
Xilin Temple
西林(lin)禅(shan)寺，别名崇恩寺，建于(yu)南(nan)宋咸淳年(nian)代(dai)（1265—127多年(nian)）。明(ming)洪武2年(nian)（1384年(nian)）改(gai)造(zao)，为(wei)于(yu)岳阳社区服务中心(xin)中莫(mo)干(gan)山中路(lu)66-6。明(ming)正(zheng)统皇敕(chi)封时赐(ci)名“大明(ming)朝西林(lin)禅(shan)寺”。殿内(nei)后门文(wen)件(jian)有一(yi)个塔，名圆(yuan)应(ying)宝(bao)塔，熟(shu)称(cheng)“西林(lin)塔”。圆(yuan)应(ying)塔（西林(lin)塔）1982年(nian)6月被(bei)入选为(wei)济(ji)南(nan)市出土文𓄧(wen)物保護厂家。塔身七(qi)层(ceng)八面，砖木机构，塔高46.5米，到目(mu)前为(wei)止仍为(wei)济(ji)南﷽(nan)城市最底的一(yi)棵树古塔。
Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road in Yueyang Sub-district, Xilin Temple, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built during 1265-1274 and reconstructed in 1387. In Ming Dynasty, an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Beh☂ind the main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-storey octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which is called Yuanying Pagoda, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai.
